Please could you purchase the bricks needed to continue building this school - JUST £10 PER BUILDING BLOCK - the more blocks you can purchase, the quicker we can build the next floor. This campaign is to build on our success - literally! Thank you.

Story

I'm walking 1,084 miles in 350 days, the distance from Land's End to John O'Groats, in aid of a great charity. And don't forget that's a fair distance for someone as young as me (let's just say I'm over 60, well over 60).

The charity has been known as Little Faces Schools, Kenya for a decade and has taken a tiny school from a rusty tin shack with just 35 extremely poor children to a thriving kindergarten and primary school for 400 children. But when the poorest kids left primary education, they faced an uncertain future, being married off, sent out to work or at best walking miles each day to state schools with 100 to a class.

They've just launched classes for the first year of secondary education, now they need to build the next floor of the new school to help more children. They feed the kids, buy their uniforms and give them an education designed to prepare them for work. And the school will be used for work skills based adult education as well as open medical clinics for the local community.

In case you're that way inclined, I've linked my Conquerer Challenges app to my Google Fit app so I can't tell porkies on my progress. Look out for updates on my journey on Facebook, making it easy for you to spread the message.
