Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Having been on a journey of what could be described (by those prone to superlatives) as some fairly epic weight loss over the last year and a half (around 35kg / 5.5 stone so far if you want the numbers), I jumped at the chance recently to run the London Marathon.

I have decided to run in aid of Chelmsford Mencap, who do amazing work with children and adults with learning disabilities in the Chelmsford area, including my brother Stephen.

I will be writing a blog at http://daverunsthemarathon.wordpress.com for those of you who would like to keep track of my training, where I will moan about running in the cold and wet and so on!
