We help blind and partially sighted people to break down the barriers of sight loss

Story

This is both a personal crowd funding book project by a writer trying to turn a story called Dragon In The Post into a real novel, sent out to you in the post, that you can look up on Indiegogo.com and now with a charity element too, for the RNIB.  My dad went blind and apparently 100 people a week lose their sight in the UK.

I first thought of doing it for its own sake,  to write about it at my blog phoenixarkpress.com, along with other travel pieces in Hampshire, but also struggling with my own campaign, then thought why not do something for charity too.  So one of the perks on indiegogo at £50 will give £10 to the RNIB, while if you've no interest in the book you can simply support the charity.  You can read about the journey as I go, wish me luck and many thanks.

About the charity

Every day 250 people in the UK start losing their sight. With your help, we can be there when people need us most, support independent living, create an inclusive society and prevent avoidable sight loss. Every pound you raise will help create a future where sight loss is no longer a barrier.
