Story

Our Usleep team part of the Vita Group have began training for a gentle stroll up Mount Snowdon in aid of Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People.

Our event is taking place on the 23rd April 2022 and the chosen path we are planning to take is the Pyg track which is the shortest walking route up Snowdon, and the one that involves the least amount of ascent. Despite this, the Pyg Track is not the easiest path up as it can be steep and rocky in places but the paths are generally very good all the way and reasonably straightforward to follow for us novices, the track is 5.5km in length and involves around 800m of ascent and all being well we should all reach the summit in three hours.

The challenge awaits our team and the training has started, we are all committed to raising as much money as possible for everyone involved at the Rainbows Hospice, so please help us in helping others and donate to this great cause.

About the charity

As the East Midlands’ only hospice for children and young people, we brighten the short lives of babies, children and young people who come to Rainbows. We want them to have fun and make special memories. We are also here to support their loved ones through the most difficult times of their lives.
