Story

Waterloo Uncovered combines a world-class archaeology project at Waterloo with support for the military community. Each year we assemble an international team of archaeologists, soldiers & veterans to excavate and understand the remains of the 200 year old battle site. Archaeology offers opportunities to everyone no matter their ability or injury, so all participants learn new skills, build confidence, and open up to new possibilities. Through it, WU helps veterans with issues like welfare and transition, and transforms recovery into discovery.
