Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Its done, the hair is all off, quite a liberating experience. Thanks to everyone who has donated, and please if you enjoy the photos and my humiliation donate to this Charity.

Lockdown means that my hair is out of control and it has to go, the Government says not before 4th July so the only solution seems to be to shave it off! Hopefully you will be able to laugh at the before and after photos, my wife and children may not as we continue with our semi quarantined existence.

If I’m going to do this then let’s try to raise some money for Dementia. This is a terrible illness that impacts so many lives and many of us will have family or loved ones affected by this. My Mother, Suzanne is suffering with Dementia. There is no cure but with sufficient research and necessary funding perhaps we can help future generations.

The facts:

1 in 6 people in the UK are affected by some form of neurological condition, that’s 14.7m people.

I have chosen The National Brain Appeal and all fundraising will go specifically to the Dementia Research Fund, which will enable innovative and ongoing research at the UCL Dementia Research Centre.

Please help me to support this worthy Charity.

Thank you,

David
