Story
Wildlife in Kenya is facing many challenges such as poaching, human-wildlife conflict and loss of habitat. To be able to save wildlife in Kenya, more funds are required. I will be dropping from an altitude 10,000 ft to 4000ft on rugged terrain to raise GBP 2000 for Born Free Foundation to conserve Mt. Kenya forest and its iconic wildlife species. Born Free Foundation has been supporting the conservation of Mt. Kenya ecosystem since 1999. The raised fund will be used to:
- Minimize human-wildlife conflict;
- Develop education programmes;
- Secure the critical elephant ‘corridor’ between Mount Kenya's forest and the Ngare Ndare forest; and
- Anti-poaching.
Supporters can also send their contribution to Born Free via Safaricom Pay Bill No. 963100, Account no. 10to4.
