Inca Trail to Machu Picchu in Peru · 3 November 2023

Since 2016 Liverpool Airport has supported Alder Hey, raising over £180,000 for a number of projects. In 2021, Liverpool Airport announced it was supporting the charity's Surgical Neonatal Appeal.

Story

Throughout 2023 I’ll be taking part in various challenges  and events along with 10 other colleagues from Liverpool John Lennon Airport with our aim to raise £80,000 for a new Family Room within Alder Heys new state of the art Surgical Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

My first challenge is to trek to Everest Base Camp in Nepal in January and finishing with trekking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu in Peru in November with a variety of other challenges and events in between which I will be doing to help raise money for the Airports chosen charity, Alder Hey for a new Family Room within Alder Heys new state of the art Surgical Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

These rooms enable parents and their families to be alongside their poorly new born babies, whilst they receive expert care with state-of-the-art innovative technology to monitor their condition.

Thank you very much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
