My  40th birthday celebrations came to an abrupt halt when my partner was admitted to hopspital in crippling pain. After a stay in hospital she was diagnosed with IBD ( ulcerative colitis).  IBD is a life changing illness, that causes pain in so many different ways that can't be seen. Doing this challenge  is a way hopefully to raise awareness and funds to help in the fight against Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD).
