Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Mental health is a cause that is very close to my heart, having experienced its devastating effects when I lost my cousin back in 2021. He was a truly special person who was loved by everyone around him. There isn't a day that goes by when I don't think about how much I miss him or what I wish I could have said to him, which is why I want to do right by him by continuing to raise money for mental health charities in his memory.
I want to show how much I care by pushing myself both physically and mentally, this time by taking part in a half marathon. I took part in the Movember challenge last year by running a 5k every day during November and raising £1200 for men's mental health. Therefore, this represents a chance to build upon my previous work.
More than anything I hope I can help raise awareness for such a significant issue, and encourage people to look out for their loved ones.
