During Advent we celebrate Jesus coming as the Light of the World so I want to use this time to help bring light to rural communities in a practical way. 

Tearfund are providing solar lighting to villages in rural Tanzania. This gives the people there, the chance to live more safely and do school work and run their small businesses after dark.

I will be walking round Sixfields lake, also known as 'Lighthouse lake' in Northampton, 26 times, representing the days of Advent in 2020. It is approximately 3 miles per lap. Anybody who would like to accompany for a lap (subject to current restrictions) would be welcome.
