2019 sees the return of the multi-award winning JCP Swansea Half Marathon. Voted the UK's best half marathon (2017 & 2018) and Wales' biggest and best summer half marathon. Ty Hafan are thrilled to have 15 free spaces for this event!

Story

It’s a privilege to work on the fundraising team at Ty Hafan and witness first hand the incredible work undertaken by our care team both at the Hospice and out in the community. Our supporters are the lifeblood of our organisation so it seems fitting to join them and take part in these two events to help raise much needed funds. It’s been a while since I’ve taken on a challenge and the hips are a bit rusty but I’ll give it my best shot. A donation from you would really help spur me on whilst making a real difference to children with life-limiting conditions in Wales. Read more about Ty Hafan below. Diolch. JDH x

Ty Hafan is a leading Welsh childrens charity providing palliative care to children and young people while supporting their families. If you think this means we simply offer a place where children can come to die, you couldnt be further from the truth. Ty Hafan is about creating a lifetime of memories to
cherish. Its about joy, laughter and friendship. Its about life.

Our vibrant hospice and diverse community programmes provide comfort, care and support to children with life-limited conditions, and their families.
We offer short-break care and help families make the most of the time they have together - making precious memories and ensuring a short life is a full life. And when a child is close to the end of their life, Ty Hafan becomes a familys safe haven, by their side during their most difficult time - and for as long as they need us.
