February 2016 our lives changed. We had it confirmed my husband had dementia. Only to find a week later it was vascular dementia. There is no cure, no medication, and a short life span from it. 

Around 4 weeks later my husband took his last breath with us by his side in Walsall manor hospital. It was the most heartbreaking experience I went through. 

It is not just the dementia sufferers that suffer, family’s suffering too! Watching there loved one fade away. Not being able to do anything to stop this awful disease.
