February 2016 our lives changed. We had it confirmed my dad had dementia. Only to find a week later it was vascular dementia. There is no cure, no medication, and a short life span from it.

Around 4 weeks later my dad took his last breath with us by his side in Walsall manor hospital. It was the most heartbreaking experience I went through.

It is not just the dementia sufferers that suffer, family’s suffering too! Watching there loved one fade away. Not being able to do anything to stop this awful disease.

I want to help as best I can. And if this charity can help the patient and the family make the best out of there lives then we’re on the best path possible. Let’s help to make everyone’s life as best we can.
