Story
Being diagnosed with a kidney condition can be a scary time for the all the family and I would like to support the Cardiff University Hospital to help the continue the exceptional work they undertake to help and support all kidney patients with commitment and care as they did with with father.
I'm very proud and thankful for the kindness that the hospital provided and I set myself a challenge and have entered 17 events and to complete a minimum of 20 park runs that totals 326.48km
The events that I will undertake will be very challenging for me. I have chosen 6 Half Marathons, more than I have ever completed. Some 10k events that are are new and a beast that will prove difficult and I want to do over 20 parks run that take place 9am every Saturday.
Did you know - Around 1 in every 8 people in the UK will develop Chronic Kidney Disease and every day 19 people in the UK will develop kidney failure, Furthermore around 30,000 people in the UK are currently on dialysis.
At Cardiff University Hospital they provide renal services to over 2 million people living within South Wales and the hospital is a centre of excellence.
I would really appreciate your support again this year to raise some funds for a very deserving charity.
Thank you again for your kindness.
