Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am doing this for my son, Harrison, who was born with a VSD (A hole in his heart). We were given the news of his VSD within 24 hours of his birth. This really rocked my world but we carried on regardless as we were told it was common and it would correct itself within a few years. However recently on his yearly check up it was discovered via ultra scan/echo scan that his heart problem was a little more complicated than first feared. He now has a leaky valve along with his VSD. Although he is fit and healthy at the moment it could cause him problems later on in life. We are lucky considering how many children are born each year with serious heart conditions and there are some very unwell children that are born every year with major heart defeats. I have chosen to ride for this charity as having recently contacted them for help and advise they have been very supportive to us. I am doing this ride in honour of my son and all other children that suffer from heart defeats.
