Story
On 12th August I have decided to take part in an endurance event called The Death March, in Bornem Belgium.
Described by the military as 'Character Building', it involves completing a 100km course in under 24hours.
To give you some perspective , that's the equivalent of walking from Leicester to Derby and back again.
Just 45% of entrants complete the course with most dropping out due to severe blisters, seized joints or exhaustion.
So, why take part? I am raising money for Marie Curie and Epilepsy research uk (Richard Fieldman memorial fund), both of which are very close to my heart. I am hoping you think I'm so crazy that you'll feel compelled to sponsor whatever you can afford to either of my charities.
Every penny really does help, so please help me reach my target and motivate me to finish. Why not take a quiet bet on whether you think I'll make it....and in what time!
Thanks so much for your support, Craig.
