I am doing this challenge in Mum's memory.  She is the first person who got me swimming, as a child around the coast of England.  And we swam off and on, up until Mum was 80 (as in the photo)

She slowly lost her sight in the last few years of her life, and it was heart-breaking.  So Guide Dogs is a charity I support in her name.
