In February 2020 I had a hip replacement, as part of my recovery plan & something to do during Lockdown I decided to go for a walk each day. I started off walking short distances & increased the distance as I got stronger.  I walked a total of just over 319 miles between April & August.

I now want to challenge myself further, therefore, I am going to virtually walk from Lands End to John O'Groats over the period of 12 months, thats 872 miles. I hope to complete the challenge before the end of the year.

Since the pandemic all Charities has stuggled to raise funds as all their face to face events have had to be cancelled . I'm a volunteer for the Ark Cancer Centre Charity, so I thought I could try & raise some essiental funds for them whilst I complete this epic challenge.
