This February Ste and I are  challenging ourselves to a Dechox! Along with thousands of others across the UK, We’re giving up chocolate for a month to raise funds for the BHF's life saving research into cures and treatments for heart and circulatory diseases. That means for 28 days we’l be saying 'NO' to cocoa - from the chocolate sprinkles on our hot chocolate, to sneaking a 3pm chocolate bar and, to all choccie desserts.

We won't be able to stay away from our favourite sweet treats without your help. Please donate what you can towards our choc-free efforts. Together we can protect the people we love from heart disease. 

In March 2017  my stepdad, Alan, passed away from undiagnosed Heart Disease. My father in law then passed away less than 6 months later from the same horrid disease. Raising awareness for keeping your heart healthy is not only a big thing for myself in Alan’s memory but to make others aware.
