I'll be running 10k at the Windsor Parallel event in June. Whilst this is a modest distance for some, I haven't taken part in a race since I've been a mum (over 6 years ago) so it's taken some effort and training to get race ready, but the motivation is easy with Embracing Arts doing amazing work to bring the joy of theatre to children who cannot access traditional venues.

Embracing Arts is a theatre company that is dedicated to creating work for children with special educational needs and/or life limiting conditions. We believe that every child should be able to enjoy the magic of theatre and have created a range of theatrical experiences that can be brought to them, wherever they are. ​Our interactive, multi-sensory shows, parties and workshops are tailored to the unique needs of each audience and use storytelling, song, music and puppetry to entertain, engage and educate.
