Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society - Tandem Skydive · 14 March 2020

Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

I would like to share with you my birthday giveback challenge this year and hope you will support the cause and sponsor us.

For those of you that know me well, you know that I’m no stranger to bold actions and taking it to the edge!

This year for International Women's Day 2020 with which I share my birthday, I will be doing a Tandem Skydive on 14th March to raise money for the MS Society in honour of the most beautiful soul Gupsie, who was diagnosed with MS in 2015, and all those that suffer from this disease.  Gupsie's journey is one of humility, bravery and true  inspiration... teaching us all how to embrace life and whatever it throws at us with grace, gratitude and strength.

Leading researchers believe that we could have treatments that work for everyone in late stage clinical trials by 2025. Together, we can see a future where nobody need worry about their MS getting worse.

I will be facing into my deep irrational fear of heights, and jumping out of an aeroplane in a tandem skydive, to raise money to support MS Society in progressing research for a cure, better treatment and care. I can only hope to draw on my inner bravery in the way which Gupsie and those that suffer from MS do each and every day.

I am asking family and friends to support, raise awareness and donate as little or as much as is affordable.... Your support will be truly appreciated, thank you! Dee x
