Our incredibly determined and vigorous headteacher is bravely taking on the half marathon challenge having never run a race before!

She has trained hard since before the summer holidays suffering injuries and thinking her knees will never be the same again.

She is determined to pass the finishing line with her daughter Holly and raise as much money as possible to start our campaign of fund raising for our chosen charity.

Having taught visually impaired children and having members of her family with sight difficulties this is a charity close to our head teacher’s heart. She has also been inspired by the fabulous work of the puppy trainers she has met and encouraged to visit our school.

We will follow her example with several fund raising activities planned but none that will leave us as exhausted as we think she will be after her race !
