Dementia is a late stage consequence of degenerative brain diseases, such as Alzheimer’s disease, which can begin decades before problems with memory or thinking appear. Our goal is to find ways to detect these early brain changes, long before symptoms emerge, and predict who is at greatest risk of dementia. Early detection enables early intervention and we work across research, healthcare and communities to empower people to understand and protect brain health, for a future without dementia.
