The ability to get around is vital in order to live a full life yet thousands of people with sight loss never leave home alone. We empower visually impaired people to do that and rely on the support of the public to fund the guide dog service.

Story

Help us Raise £5000 to name our 50th Guide Dog.

My wife and I have been volunteer Puppy Walkers for over 36 years and have now completed the initial training of 48 puppies bred by Guide Dogs, of which 70% qualified as working Guide Dogs or taken for Guide Dogs breeding stock.

We have just started training Ezra (Guide dog No 49) and we would like to mark the very special occasion of Guide Dog number 50 by naming the landmark new puppy ourselves.

Normally all puppies are named before they reach Puppy Walkers but individuals or companies can have the privilege of naming a GD puppy by raising a donation of £5000. All proceeds will go to Guide Dogs for the Blind and will help continue their exceptional work of training dogs to bring freedom and independence to those with sight loss.

We will be running this page, organising fundraising events and attending local fetes etc to help reach the £5000 target. Please if you can, make your donation, all of which will go to Guide Dogs for the Blind.

THANK YOU

Derek and Norma Stent
