Story

A huge thank you for visiting one of our two charity fundraising pages for this event.

As a team of students and teacher (led by the senior student team) we are attempting to swim over 100 miles in just 2 hours.  This is the same distance as
crossing the English channel nearly 5 times! It's going to be very hard work
for all involved!

The purpose of taking on this challenge is to raise awareness and support charities that address water issues across the planet.  We are running two JustGiving pages.

  • One for the Marine Conservation Society (this one) who do an amazing job removing plastic and working more widely to protect our oceans (and plant/animal species) from harm, and a second one for

  • Oxfam who do great work securing clean water for the very poorest global citizens in African countries (preventing disease and deaths).  www.justgiving.com/fundraising/dhs100mileswim

Please help us do all we can to make a difference; every pound counts.
