Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. We are raising money for Home Start in Suffolk in two ways this September.

Firstly on the 11th September, our Warehouse Manager, Jon Hilder will be hitting the pavement and taking on the Larking Gowen Ipswich Half Marathon.

Jon has been training hard for the gruelling 13.1 miles, preparing for the dreaded Freston Hill with hill sprints in the scorcher of a summer that we have seen so far.

Then the week after on 18th September, the majority of the team here in Ipswich will be embarking on a 9 mile river walk from our office along the river Gipping until it meets the River Orwell and finally ending up at the pub…

The route will take us across the town over mixed terrain, before going off road for the last 2 miles and climbing the 30% hill in Freston Woods thankfully we’ll be greeted at the top with a nice cold drink!

All money raised will be going direct to Home-Start in Suffolk to ensure they continue the great work they do.

We have chosen to support Home-Start in Suffolk because the team felt that they wanted to be able to contribute to a charity that are working very actively in our local community. Home-Start Suffolk work with hundreds of families per year across our county during times of great difficulty when families are in real need of this valuable support. The impact that they are having on the lives of these families is invaluable and we hope that any support we are able to offer them, will help them to continue the fantastic work that they do.
