As you'll probably know, my wife Kate lost her mother Margot in January after a long battle with cancer. She was one of the most incredible people I've ever met, welcoming me into her family, but also remaining so amazingly positive throughout her fight with this awful disease.

Margot always used to laugh at me in my cycling gear, but would also take a real interest in all my adventures, so I've decided to try and raise some money this year through various events including the RideLondon 100, Cardiff- Paris cycle, and the Belfast "Titanic" cycle race.

I'll be raising money for Breast cancer campaign through this page, but anything over the £650 target will go to the hospice in New Zealand that cared for and supported Margot and the whole family in her final days/weeks.

Anything you can afford to support this cause would be amazing.
