I am running the marathon as it’s a big task I have wanted to set myself this year. After trying to lose weight & become fitter in 2020  I would set one big goal for 2021 and so what better way than to run my home city’s marathon (42 km / 26 miles) for such a great cause.

The Christie hospital are leading experts care and research of cancer patients. The doctors, nurses and all the staff spend many hours working round the clock to help patients across the whole hospital which has a close spot in the hearts of myself, family and close friends. 

Any amount helps with the fundraising whether that’s £1 or £100, it’s for a great cause and I hope to do them proud. I’ll be sure to catch you all after of it for a good pint of Guinness
