Story
C Block (Year 6) at Dragon School, Oxford, are doing something remarkable for Rhinos. On the 14 November, 2017, they will 'swim the channel' in a sponsored relay in the school pool - a total of 1,416 lengths, to be completed within one hour.
The children are supporting 'Rhinos Without Borders', a charity that is translocating 100 rhinos from areas of South Africa where they are in grave danger from poachers to safety in Botswana.
Rhinos are currently facing extinction, and this project is a major initiative supported by the Africa Foundation, andBeyond and Great Plains Conservation. In July, the latest group of 12 rhinos were transolcated by air and, with your generous donations, we can help move the next group.
