On our recent visit to the Hospital there were power cuts many times every day and so on the wards we  saw how difficult it is for patients because if the  emergency generators fail the lights go out and the oxygen supplies fail. As you can imagine that is very dangerous for patients and  frightening for their relatives. 

We are asking for your support to complete the Hydroelectric Project. The Friends of Kagando has raised more than half the money needed  -  there is enough for the pipeline but more is needed for the final phase including the cost of the turbines .

I raised about £8,000 in total  last year and am incredibly grateful to those of you who supported me. I want to help push the project towards completion and so I am training for a hilly ride of 66 miles and 4675 feet of ascent.
