The Charity

At Winstons Wish we work closely with children and young people who have lost someone important, and many of them have shared that gaming helps them cope with grief. Some play games to remember and feel connected to the person who has died, or some play them to simply switch off for a while when things get tough. Some have even shared that the person who died is someone they used to game with their Player 2.So weve launched our Player 2 campaign in honour of them, and were reaching out to gamers and streamers for your help! Hold a gaming fundraising event in celebration of your own Player 2 to help raise money for children who have lost theirs. Your Player 2 can be anyone that means something to you - it could be someone who has died, someone you miss, or someone special that you want to celebrate.

The Goal

I've gone for a £500 goal because £500 could allow the charity to offer one-to-one support to a child, helping them to cope with their grief and learn how to face the future with confidence and hope over a course of 6 months. Let's smash that target.
