Kingston Rotary Dragon Boat Challenge · 17 July 2022 ·

We run projects that support parents with the challenges of parenting, including supporting parents experiencing mental health and emotional wellbeing issues. We provide a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment where local families can meet and connect to share stories and advice.

Story

Following a 2 year covid break, the Kingston Dragon Boat Challenge is back on 17 July 2022 and the Dragons Without Borders (DWOB) team are very excited to raise money for charity by taking part in the event.

We have participated together as a team since 2016 and have won gold, silver and bronze over the years. We are local parents supporting Kingston WelCare, a local charity that helps vulnerable parents and families in our community.

This year, we are very grateful to be sponsored by Grey Horse - SMOK'D who have very generously contributed to the cost of our shirts and donated to the charity.

Team: Bruce Park, Colin Moxon, Helen Down, Markus Donaldson, Matt Booker, Mike Winborn, Nick Aplas, Rich Ainsley, Rick Coburn, Sacha Langan (Captain), Shirani Park, Steve Curtis, Susie Norman, Matt Partridge, Matt Rayner, Rob McCarthy.
