Due to financial losses, Seaworld is going to close it’s San Francisco Bay operations. It would be a good decision if it was taken on moral bases. Although California has ruled out the captive breeding of the killer whale, it is still progressing in other states and being caught from the sea.

Right now, there are 58 whales being populated in pools and aquariums. 34 are produced from captive breeding and 24 are caught from the open seas.

We need following actions taken immediately from the authorities including US and WWF.

Killers whales should not breed in a captive environment, it will result in the loss of genetic diversity.

Stop building new pools, as SeaWorld announces 1 new marine zoo in Saudi Arabia.

Closed pools will make killer whales insane as they are genetically and physical habitual to open seas. These pools will make blind (due to Chlorine, which is used to make the water looks clean).
