Forth Naturists Daring Dawn Dip in aid of Marie Curie Hospice.

Forth Naturist Club - www.forthnaturists.co.uk -  are holding a sponsored skinny dip, just as the sun comes up, on the 3rd of September. 

It’s part of the British Naturism “Great British Skinny Dip”  - www.greatbritishskinnydip.co.uk - an annual event promoting body confidence, and the benefits of Naturism and skinny dipping.

In this case, we are raising funds for Marie Curie Hospice!  And you can text your donation too - simply text GBSD88 with your amount ie £1, £5, £10 etc to 70070.

It’s at 0600, aiming to be in the water by 0620. That’s sunrise. Dawn is actually 40 minutes earlier!

The beach is in East Lothian, within 50 minutes drive from Edinburgh. The exact location will be emailed to participants about 5 days before the event. There is adequate car parking, the venue is a 15 minute walk from the car park. There is an alternative flatter, but longer route if you require it. If so, please mention this to the organisers in advance. There will be lifeguards present, and clothed representatives of Marie Curie to collect sponsor money and tell any dog walkers, joggers etc. that the event is taking place. 

East Lothian Council are aware of, and supportive of the event, but insist that we are all dressed by 0730, so we don’t encounter too many early morning dog walkers! For this reason, we are aiming to be in the sea just as the sun comes up, which has a certain je ne sais quoi!

We are also hoping to run an event in the evening at our usual swim venue, but details of that haven’t been finalised yet. If you would be interested in that, put “pool” in the subject line, or both if you want to do both! Nearer the time, we will email you with the exact location and any last minute changes of plan.
