Together we can make a difference in the lives of women and children who are recovering from trauma of domestic abuse!

Story

Everyone deserves a happy Christmas, and Edinburgh Women's Aid wants to ensure that the women and children they serve -- often at the most difficult time of their lives -- are able to have the warmth, cheer and love we all wish for at this time of year.Women have told EWA:"Today I am going shopping and am excited to be able to choose presents for my children.""Before your help. I didnt have enough money to get the food and items I needed from the shop for me and my baby, thank you!""I want to say a big thank you for your kindness and love and the gift of vouchers we received. I cannot express our joy and gratitude to you all. From our hearts we say a big thank you, and know that we appreciate all your love and care so much."The work of EWA is more important than ever -- since the start of the pandemic, there has been an increase in instances of domestic abuse and a surge in demand for our services. With your help, we can give these women and children a brighter Christmas!
