Hi, I am taking part in Pedal for Scotland with a great bunch of guys from Newsprinters Eurocentral.  We will be cycling from Glasgow to Edinburgh, a whole 47 miles, on 11th September 2016 to raise money for Kidney Research UK.  

This is a charity that is important to me as my own dad is currently diagnosed as having Chronic Kidney Disease, and there is no cure for this.  The only treatments for this is either to live on a Dialysis or to receive a kidney transplant.  My dad is currently active on the kidney donation register for the UK and also my own mum is a match to be a living donor, which is fantastic but so scary all at the same time.  My mum is my hero.  I really want to try and raise as much money as I can for Kidney Research as they support the families who are going through this, just like mine.
