Merton Mencap is a local, independent charity supporting children & adults with learning disability/autism, taking part in stimulating & engaging activities, promoting independence skills, friendships, feeling valued, confidence and being part of their local community. We provide a variety of clubs such as our buddies going out club, which provides opportunities to take part in activities which will promote health, wellbeing and inclusion within their community. We also provide 1:1 individual travel training programmes as well as a summer camp, Saturday hub, Mencap Cafe & Fitness, Dance sessions. We are delighted to be doing a sponsored walk through the historical parkland of Morden Hall park in aid to raise money & improve the lives of children & adults with a learning disability/autism. We have services available for parents such as Merton autism parent services (MAPS), LD Carers support, Kids/Adult first forum & more. Please get in touch to find out further information.
