SleepOut 2019 · 29 November 2019

The Robes Project provides a volunteer led Winter Night Shelter for those experiencing homelessness in Southwark and Lambeth. We give guests advice, guidance and floating support. In partnership with our guests, we work with them to access long term accommodation and be able to sustain it.

Story

Lizzie and I got married at Southwark Cathedral in November 2004.

Southwark supports a charity which provides winter shelter to the homeless of London.

I've slept out for the night almost every year since our wedding to help support the charity.  Last year, Kit (14) joined me for the first time.  This year Hero (12) makes it three Parrys.

We all want to do our bit to help provide shelter to the homeless of London as the cold, wet London winter starts to set in.

We hope that you will want to support us - we have our cardboard beds and woolly hats at the ready...!
