Eesa's Fundraise for the Street Children of Bangladesh

Eesa's Cookies 'n' Brownies Sale for Charity · 3 May 2020
Thank you for visiting Eesas donation page, Eesa wanted to raise some money for the underprivileged children in Bangladesh after watching a video of the street children of Dhaka.
Eesa started this Fundraise a week ago, and he wanted to thank everyone who donated with a bag of his favourite chocolate treats. After delivering nearly 60 bags of treats by himself, with his little brother Yaqub and parents of course! We've run out of cookies and brownies, but still continuing to Fundraise for this cause.
Big thanks from Eesa to everyone who's donated so far and all the people who will be making a donation in the future :)
So here's why we're supporting this cause....
In Dhaka, it is estimated that 500,000 children are forced to live on the street. Instead of receiving a strong education and a loving family home, these children are living in constant fear of abuse, trafficking and exploitation. This is not right.Muslim Charity has established a Transitional Shelter in Dhaka which rescues street children and provides them a safe space away from the horrors of the streets. In our shelter they are able to get a good night's sleep, clothes, food, informal education, watch TV, as we endeavour to work with the local police network and other authorities to trace their parents and families. Those lost children that we are able to trace families of, are reunited with their families if it is safe to do so. Otherwise the children referred onwards to permanent homes so that they get an education, food and a chance in life. Please donate generously.
