Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
After a stressful start to 2016 I joined a running group (Walk Jog Run) in the summer of that year. On May 6th of this year I will be challenging myself to run my first half marathon (I still can't believe this!!) to raise money for the Newborn Intensive Care Unit at SGH, a cause very close to our hearts.
Following the premature birth of our twins in July 1997 I have always wanted to raise money for the Newborn Intensive Care Unit at Scunthorpe General Hospital, who not only gave Callum and Aiden the best care possible after they arrived 12 weeks early, but also gave enormous support to Gary and myself. Without the care from the Nurses and Doctors on the Unit I dread to think what the result would have been.
The Unit are currently raising money to buy breast feeding chairs which cost approx £1000 each so any money I raise will go towards one of these and help any new mums on the Unit through their difficult time.
I would appreciate any donation to help towards my target, thanking you in advance.
LET THE TRAINING BEGIN!!
