As a Trustee of Eden Valley Hospice, Carlisle I am joining my fellow Trustees in their 300 Miles in 30 Days - a virtual tour of Cumbria throughout the month of June, to raise money for the hospice.

The Trustees have set themselves a group fundraising challenge to run, walk, ride or cycle the boundary line of Cumbria during the month of June.  However I have decided to take on my personal challenge of walking 300,000 steps in 30 days and raise vital funds for Eden Valley Hospice & Jigsaw Cumbria’s Children's Hospice .  

The ability to fundraise has been significantly affected  during the coronavirus pandemic as retails shops have had to close, events cancelled and many people who were planning on supporting us at work, at school, at home and elsewhere have had to suspend fundraising activities.  

Those of you who know me well will know that this will not be a walk in the park for me, but I am determined to complete  my challenge and hope that you will consider sponsoring me in support of this wonderful charity.  Each donation, no matter how small will be very much appreciated and enable Eden Valley Hospice to continue its vital work both now and in the future.
