We provide all-Wales emergency air cover to serve Wales & save lives 365 days a year

Story

On July 11th 2020, my husband Richard collapsed whilst out walking in the Clwydian Mountain Range.  Wales Air Ambulance attended the scene and provided medical assistance. Sadly,  despite all their efforts, they were unable to save him and he died on Moel Famau.

Myself,  our children, Carys and Steffan, along with our dear friends, will be taking part in the Cheshire Triathlon on July 25th in memory of Richard.  We hope to raise money for Wales Air Ambulance which provides such an incredible service for our communities across Wales.   We will always be grateful for the help that Richard received on that day. Hopefully, by raising money we can  ensure that others  continue to  receive the same emergency assistance when it is needed.

Richard is  missed every day.  He was a much loved husband, father, son, brother and friend. Training for the triathlon has given us a  focus and purpose. We are truly grateful for the support and encouragement in preparation for this event.
