Story

Hello Everyone!!

I hope you are well.

In the month of June, I am going to be running 50 km (31 Miles) to raise money for the Guide dogs charity. This is a charity that is quite close to my heart.

On the 31stof March 2022, nine adorable puppies were born to become guide dogs. In May, one of those bundles of joy was given to us. His name is Otis, he is ¾ Labrador and ¼ golden retriever. We had the pleasure of loving and raising him for a year and then in May 2023, he went to Redbridge for his intense training to become a guide dog. While with us he matured into a well mannered dog who could travel on the bus, train and behave correctly in shops and supermarkets. I am so happy that he has been part of our lives, he brought us so much joy and we can’t wait to hear how he progresses in his training. It was so heart breaking to let him go (there were lots of tears) but I know he is going to change someone’s life and I am so proud to have been part of his life. Otis you have taken a piece of my heart. 🩵
