I dropped my phone down the loo. It was a sign. Ever since Rich, my partner, was diagnosed with primary progressive MS a year ago, I've wanted to do some fundraising. And kissing good bye to technology seemed logical. Not only because my phone is waterlogged (excuse the pun), but because it will be really hard. No more light perusals of Facebook, rampant refreshing of Twitter, googling, Mumsnet lurking or Whatsapp chats. It shouldn't be as hard as it will be. 

Also, I hope it will help me to live in the moment. A handy skill when the future is uncertain.

If I can make any small difference to funding research into finding a cure for the bastard that is MS I will be a happy woman.
