Everyone always asks why do you take part in Relay for Life York, the truth is, it brings our family and friends together in fundraising events throughout the year and for one big celebratory weekend, to raise money for a cause really close to all our hearts. After my Mum was diagnosed a second time with Cancer, we began fundraising with the hope of beating Cancer sooner. Despite Mum no longer being here, we continue to fight for a better tomorrow. Cancer has impacted so many of my loved ones and doing a little bit in aid of such a great charity can go such a long way!
