Over the last year, my strong & beautiful Mum has been battling Stage 3 Ovarian Cancer. Her Macmillan nurse, Lisa, (along with Sandra, Steph and Lyn), and the charity as a whole have been an incredible support for her from diagnosis to operation to chemo to today. The work they do is integral to the wellbeing of cancer patients, and I am challenging myself to run 10K to raise as much money as I can for Macmillan Cancer Support as a way of saying thank-you and giving back. I want to run for my Mum and all her strength in dealing with this. I also want to run in memory of all those we've lost to cancer, including my wonderful Grandad and loved ones of close friends (whom Macmillan were also an invaluable support for). If anyone has a few quid to spare to put towards the work of this incredible charity, I would be very grateful. Thank-you 💚
