Story
Just a few words : on Sunday 24th April I will be running the London Marathon as we would like to give something back to Cancer Research UK for the research they do to help people fight cancer. In July 2014 I was informed that I had a very rare form of cancer and was unsure what the future held , with a terminal prognosis initially given. Thanks to my consultant, we found a surgical team in Bristol who were prepared to carry out the high risk operation to remove the tumours. The fight continues with a scan every 3 months. This is going to be a huge challenge, after having my right lungs removed on 1st September 2014, but I will make it round. I have also been invited to run the New York Marathon on 6th November so my running journey continues and hopefully this will inspire others to fight and provide hope for those diagnosed with cancer. .
