Story
Many of you will know that our beloved Gemma passed away in August of this year after a long standing battle with cancer. She was not only my sister-in-law but a best friend who I miss dearly. Gemma was known for and continues to be remembered for her incredible strength and positivity and one thing she believed helped her through her 7 year battle was exercise and keeping fit. In memory of our beautiful angel Gem I wanted to set myself a goal that would entail pushing myself beyond what I believe myself to be capable of like Gem did every day, to ultimately raise money for an amazing cause so close to my heart. So I’m 3 months post-partum with baby no.2, sleep deprived and haven’t exercised in over a year and would definitely put myself in the ‘not a natural runner’ category but plan to run the 2020 Reading half in Gem’s honour and would very much appreciate your support! A big shout out to my bestie Abbie Dando who has kindly offered to run with me on the day to also help get me through it! 😘
Please donate in memory of an amazing lady and amazing cause that so many of us are sadly touched by.
Much love Xxx
