London to Brighton Bike Ride 2018 · 16 September 2018 ·
We did it!! All that training paid off. It was tough going up that hill but worth the pain to descend into Brighton on a fabulous sunny day!
Thank you to everyone who donated. It really kept us going on the day!
It's not too late to donate if you haven't yet.
I work for CPU and have seen firsthand how psychotherapy can be transformative. Once people have been brave enough to ask for our help, we assess their needs and support them through treatment which will be challenging at times but will help them gain some insight into their difficulties and relief from their suffering. Our patients may be socially isolated, suffer from anxiety or depression, have relationship problems, symptoms related to trauma or abuse, eating disorders and other complex psychological problems. I am immensely proud to work for CPU, a small, hard working charity that makes an enormous difference to people’s lives.
Mental health issues are likely to affect us all in some shape or form over our lifetime, but not everyone can afford access to the help they need. We offer free and low cost long term psychoanalytic therapy, rarely available on the NHS. Demand for our service is extremely high and more funds are crucial to enable us to meet this demand. Since our NHS funding was withdrawn in 2010 we have relied on our own vigorous fund-raising efforts and the generosity of our friends and supporters to maintain this exceptional service.
Please help by donating as much as you can.
